Above and beyond necessary action : My answer to a potential BP Obama Takeover
I’m as annoyed, disappointed, enraged by the lack of corporate responsibility of BP as the next person but placing the US in charge of BP as a corporation is completely and utterly unnecessary. Placing the US in charge of the cleanup and this particular oil spill, yes, completely understandable and you could even say I encourage it. However there is absolute no reason for President Obama to become the new head of BP. Can you imagine if they suggested this to Bush? Oh what an uproar that would cause! I have one word to say, ridiculous to all parties, you BP, you Obama, you the media for your weak reporting on this tragic situation due to the current political power, and whoever suggested this would be a great idea.

While the rest of the country recognizes the fallen soldiers on this 2010 Memorial Day - President Obama has decided to take his every six week trip to Chicago. Seriously you couldn’t have left after you completed your Presidential duties? Instead Vice President Joe Biden will be taking the role of laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider, hosting breakfast for Gold Star families, and meeting with families who have lost loved ones in military service. Really, Barack your shown level of respect for the military is so noteworthy.
